The name Gilbert Lodge has been synonymous with quality engineering products since John Gilbert-Lodge founded the company in 1908. Gilbert Lodge was established as an importer and distributor of machine tooling, and later was the first company to bring locomotive engines into Australia. The company has evolved into a leading provider of an extensive range of high performance products and solutions to Australian industry.

GLA has over 100 years experience as a leading distributor of high performance commercial, industrial and hazardous area lighting and electrical products. We were one of the first companies to bring electronic lighting ballasts into Australia under the Helvar name, and have distributed the Australian made Burnbrite hazardous area lighting and work lights for over 50 years. We are now proud to be one of the pioneers in LED lighting under our eSAVE name.

The Versa-Lite range of fluorescent lights is a market leader in the industrial, automotive and 4WD markets. With a reputation for long life in arduous environments the Versa-Lite is a popular light.

Burn Brite has now combined the benefits of the Versa-Lite body and the latest in LED technology. After significant R&D Burn Brite has developed a groundbreaking range of Australian-made LED portable lights.
